key account manager
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the Residential development function within Coolabah Turf, to maximise Sales opportunities from current and new customers.The role will require a strong customer relationship management & service focus to drive sales, develop new business opportunities and increase market share of Coolabah turf varieties into the new residential development & construction market.
The role will require a self-driven, organised and experienced Sales Executive to drive new business, and support current customers predominantly in the Melbourne area, particularly Key Metropolitan Growth Corridors, with some regional Victoria travel. With most time spent on road and with customers, the minimal office component will be home-based.
Competitive remuneration package, based on experience, compromising of Salary + super + vehicle + KPI incentives.
If you’re a professional, positive, and motivated individual with a passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer care, a disciplined approach to Key Account management and an ability to develop new business concepts and commercial acumen, we want to hear from you.
Essential skills and experience include demonstrable strategic sales management, business development, and the ability to influence and educate across various stages of the sales process. Key attributes will also include the ability to understand and remain focused through complex sales and tender processes. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Sales Manager and be instrumental in converting incoming enquiries—whether online, by phone, or in person—into successful sales. You’ll need to quickly understand customer needs and provide expert advice on our products and services to suit their individual needs. Key responsibilities include prompt follow-up, precise reporting, and rapid responses.
Applicants will need a proven track record in a sales and/or retail customer service environment, and experience with CRM systems and workflows will be highly considered.
